The 24/25 FootballPXTrading Competition is your chance to be among the first to experience our game-changing platform. We aim to provide football fans with a more engaging and sustainable way to have real skin in the game, beyond traditional sports gambling.
Through real-time user experience, we've identified an imbalance in risk vs. reward for active traders. The existing system allowed excessive upside for high trading volume, especially with low PP1 players, leading to disproportionate gains from minimal match contributions. Since all traders compete for the same pot, easy profits for some meant hidden losses for others.
To ensure a fairer balance, we've updated the scoring system—introducing more risk and nuance. Active traders will now face increased challenges, making the game more exciting while maintaining fairness. More losses for high-risk trades mean greater gains for others, ensuring an intuitive and rewarding trading experience based on real football events.

Key Changes
The new scoring matrix rebalances risk and reward, ensuring that performance on the pitch is reflected more accurately in trading outcomes. Key updates include:
Appearances – Now Broken into 4 Tiers
- Players must play 81+ minutes to earn 3 points (previously 76+ minutes).
- Players must play 61+ minutes to earn 2 points (previously 46+ minutes).
- Players must play 31+ minutes to earn 1 point (previously 1+ minutes).
- Less than 31 minutes results in 0 appearance points.
Defensive Actions: More Time, More Risk
- To qualify for a defensive score, players must play 61+ minutes (previously 45+ minutes).
- Every goal conceded now results in -1 point (previously, -1 point was only applied after conceding 3 or 5 goals).
Rationale: If a match ends 3-3, attackers benefit significantly from goals and assists. This change ensures defenders face real consequences for conceding, requiring players to contribute offensively to offset defensive risks.
Attacking Actions: Penalty Shootouts Now Count!
- All penalty actions are now included in scoring.
- If a match goes to a penalty shootout, players scoring, missing, or saving a penalty will receive the corresponding score.
Rationale: Penalty shootouts are game-defining moments and should be reflected in the scoring system. This update adds excitement to shootouts!
